(EN) "Sent Object" was an affective exchange and poetic response that we sent out by mail to the single participant of the project "Archeology of Affection". The hand-sewn book is consisted of 74 common photographic prints. All images were captured by mobile devices portraying our own intimacy as a couple. Inspired by the phallic shape of the "Received Object" the book´s central part was delicately cut out. Two distinct complementary forms then emerged: the book itself, cut out, now referered as "Book-object," and the inner part, now referered as "Sent Object." The "Sent Object" was mailed to the adress provided by the volunteer and works as a fundamental piece for fully understanding the "Object Book" images. "Object Book" and "Sent Object" are complemental and one without the other makes it impossible to fully access the images of our intimacy.
(PT) "Objeto enviado" foi a troca afetiva e resposta poética enviada por correio para o único participante do projeto "Arqueologia do Afeto".O livro, costurado à mão, é composto por 74 impressões fotográficas comuns. Todas as imagens foram capturadas por meio de dispositivos móveis durante o período do projeto e retratam nossa intimidade enquanto casal. Baseada na forma de dildo do "Objeto Recebido" a parte central do livro foi delicadamente recortada e destacada. Surgiram então duas formas distintas complementares: o livro em si, recortado, agora conhecido como "Livro Objeto", e o recorte do livro, chamado por "Objeto Enviado". O "Objeto Enviado", parte recortada e separada do restante do livro foi enviado por correio para o voluntário participante do projeto e funciona como uma chave para a leitura das imagens do "Livro Objeto". "Livro Objeto" e "Objeto Enviado" completam-se e um sem o outro torna impossível o acesso completo às imagens de nossa intimidade.
