(EN) Performance proposed as a metaphor about individual freedom and the bounderies imposed, especially during the childhood period. The act, composed by slow and repetitive gestures, evokes questions concerning the formation of identities and gender, their repressions and obstructions. The sound object, result of the performance, is formed from an edited compilation of behavioral rules set out by important Brazilian leaders, politicians and religious guides. Performance held on July 23, 2015, at MUTE Gallery in Lisbon, Portugal. Supported by the Arte Institute.
(PT) A performance é proposta como uma metáfora sobre a liberdade individual e as fronteiras impostas, especialmente durante o período da infância. O ato, composto por gestos lentos e repetitivos, evoca questões relacionadas à formação de identidades e gênero, suas repressões e obstruções. O objeto sonoro, resultado da performance, é formado a partir de uma compilação editada de regras comportamentais estabelecidas por importantes líderes brasileiros, políticos e guias religiosos.
